The Challenge We Face
The median age of a homebuyer in 2025 was 59 years old. The American Dream of homeownership has slowly been dying for young Arizonans - in large part because of suburban blight, dysfunction, and neglect.
Hardworking young adults are struggling to buy homes in safe, decent neighborhoods, instead being forced into cramped apartments or decrepit single family rentals just to have a safe place to live.
Even as all this takes place, many local governments have handed de facto control of many suburban neighborhoods to whomever is willing to accept the lowest standards of maintenance and neighborly behavior.
If America - and Arizona - intend to live up to their world-beating promise, something needs to change.
How We're Fixing Things
Rebuild Phoenix is a social & investing club that exists to enrich our members and restore the American Dream in Arizona by coordinating the restoration and preservation of entire blighted neighborhoods, one home at a time.
We collaborate to purchase and move into homes in blighted neighborhoods, renovate them to a high standard, then add them to a newly created HOA and sell them to new owners once the neighborhood has significantly improved.
By investing larger amounts of money and effort than an individual flipper or homeowner would, and maintaining standards with HOA rules, we aim to permanently transform entire neighborhoods - instead of just individual homes.
